A CRUEL pharmaceutical company who allegedly dumped sales representatives into a wheelie bin has been named and shamed today. Pfizer became one of the pharmaceutical industry’s most hated companies when allegations of dropping Pfizer sales representatives into green recycling bins emerged during an age discrimination court case.
They have since been given police protection — after sickened CafePharma posters bombarded their own web site with the usual invective. Police stepped in and informally offered the company protection. Officers are now on duty outside their headquarters.
The guard was put in place as the HR manager’s mum claimed her daughter actually LOVES sales reps — and doesn't know what came over her.
She said: "Elizabeth said she just didn't know what possessed her, or what came over her, it's just very strange because she cannot explain her actions at all.”
"We're all living on edge at moment, she doesn't know what happened.
"She absolutely adores employees, it just doesn't make sense.
"We're just hoping we can all get through this because I know a lot of people are not happy about it.
Shocking ... HR manager shouts at employee before firing her:
"I know that sounds ironic considering what has happened but she does love sales reps."
A Cafepharma page gives details of the allegations of the attack and has attracted thousands of comments demanding justice.
The page describes how sales representative Marjorie Wagoner was suddenly summoned to a meeting at Pfizer’s regional offices near Chicago, Illinois. The meeting was scheduled for the following day.
Ms. Wagoner was not apprised of the purpose of the meeting. When Marjorie Wagoner arrived at the meeting, four representatives of Pfizer management were present: Clark Mohar; JoAnn Yeksigian, Regional Manager; Larry Guess, Assistant to the Regional Manager; and Elizabeth Chaudhari, a human relations department representative.
During that meeting, Marjorie Wagoner was berated and falsely accused of changing and altering dates of certain starter (drug sample) forms to balance out her daily sales activities. She was humiliatingly interrogated and browbeaten for hours regarding the false charges.
Ms. Wagoner repeatedly and adamantly denied the accusations, but that did not stop Pfizer from continuing the attack.
At one point, Elizabeth Chaudhari angrily exclaimed that she did not believe Ms. Wagoner, though she never explained why. The interrogation was so intense that it caused Ms. Wagoner to vomit and feel faint at the airport as she was leaving Chicago that evening.
A spokeswoman for Pfizer HR said: "Our managers have done exactly what we asked them to do, and the courts have exonerated the company from any wrong-doing.”
“State law explicitly does not extend liability to insults, indignities, threats or acts that are definitely inconsiderate and unkind. These are all perfectly legal tools in the HR tool kit, and Pfizer HR and its management merely used them to get what they wanted - in this case, an old rep replaced by a younger, cheaper and prettier one.”
"It could be argued that perhaps the managers involved in this case did not act in accordance with Pfizer Values, but then hey, who does?"
“They are intended as a stick to beat rank and file employees with, rather than as a set of guidelines for management, as this case clearly shows.”
“We treat all of our potential downsizes in exactly the same way. After all, it’s not like we inflicted suffering on anything of importance. Such as, say, a cat…”
A RSPCPSR (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Pfizer Sales Representatives) spokeswoman said: "A company featured in CCTV footage putting a sales rep in a bin in Kansas has now been identified.
"The RSPCPSR is leading an investigation into the incident and will be interviewing the company shortly."

Minor tales of real world unplesantness to dumb animals pale into insignificance when compared with the horrors related here...
You are a fucking genius Sir! I am pissing myself here!
